ICVFX - Virtual Production R&D

The Challenge:

Traditional virtual production requires massive LED volumes costing $100K+ per day. We hypothesized that tabletop setups could deliver comparable results for product photography and commercial work at a fraction of the cost.

Our Approach:

Developed an integrated workflow combining Unreal Engine 5 ICVFX with Motion Control and practical tabletop environments. By syncing real-time lighting with physical products, we could shoot commercial-grade product content without the overhead of full-scale LED stages.

The Results:

Successfully proved the concept—delivering commercial-grade product shots using a tabletop setup. This workflow opens virtual production capabilities to smaller productions, brands, and agencies previously priced out of the technology.
